Welcome to AM-603 — The Growth and Future of the Associate Minister. This is the final course of the So You Want To Be An Associate Minister Masterclass, and it answers the question that AM-601 and AM-602 have been building toward: not who you are called to be, and not how to execute the calling with excellence, but where the calling is taking you — and how to ensure that the trajectory is intentionally shaped rather than accidentally determined.

Let’s take common sense to a higher level. AM-601 built the character. AM-602 built the competency. AM-603 builds the trajectory. The minister who has the character and the competency but no intentional development plan will plateau — will reach a level of ministry effectiveness and remain there indefinitely, not because the calling is exhausted but because the growth disciplines that sustain continuous development have not been built. AM-603 builds those disciplines.

HOW AM-603 COMPLETES THE MASTERCLASS

The three-course structure of this Masterclass has been deliberate from the beginning. AM-601 addressed the inner life before the outer function. AM-602 addressed the outer function at the highest available standard. AM-603 addresses the long-range trajectory — the specific question of whether the ministry this calling produces will deepen across years and decades or whether it will plateau, stagnate, and eventually decline.

The answer to that question is not determined by gifting. It is not determined by opportunity.
